About InnerPrize Group
InnerPrize Group, LLC (IPG) started on February 19, 2017, with four family members, in order to make dreams come true. Our mission: Contributing to the betterment of the world.
"Auntie Lili" Shang with her husband, "Uncle Wei" Shang, work with two of her daughters, Kati Livingood and Christi Lawson, to create and share educational books, puzzles and other learning tools useful for families and community building.
InnerPrize Group has the vision to work in three areas:
- IPG Creations
- IPG Philanthropy
- IPG Innovations
Our intention is to work side by side with other artists and illustrators, teachers and writers, inventors and activists, parents and friends, to take an idea, create, revise, publish, market and distribute it to just the right person, home, neighborhood, school, business, government and other organizations. We develop processes for taking a creation, the desire to serve, or a solution to a problem, from idea to reality right beside you.
At this time we are focusing mainly on IPG Creations, co-creating and publishing morally inspired books and other learning materials for children of all ages. Our focus now is on two brands:
- Mine Rich in Gems Here we develop, publish and market explicitly Bahá'í books and learning tools to parents, teachers, families, and friends, to support neighborhood development. While the books, puzzles, coloring pages, activities, etc. are Bahá'í in nature, everyone from all beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints is welcome to be a part of the whole process. Please join us in discussions and sharing ideas, experiences, and goals related to neighborhood community development while taking part in supporting...children's classes, junior youth groups, devotional gatherings, study circles, firesides and more.
- Auntie Lili's Books & Things This is our 'mainstream' arm that does not contain explicitly religious material but is inspired by moral teachings. We produce books, coloring books, puzzles, activities, etc. for kids to develop inner strengths to handle tough issues. Some of our stories are based on "Auntie" Lili's own experience growing up with her parents, grandparents and brothers and cousins, on a worm farm in rural Florida, in the big house on a hill in Pittsburg, or running around the streets of Morocco (where her Dad was stationed when she was in elementary school).
