Putting the Gems puzzle together
Three neighborhood children (aka little angels) finishing putting the ★”Mine Rich in Gems”★ puzzle together. Now they are going to turn over the pieces to find 24 of their “gems of inestimable value”. This is a 2-sided puzzle that teaches about the virtues within.
You can explore the meaning of Bahá’u’lláh’s words, “Regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value. Education can alone cause it to reveal its treasures.” means. As the children put the puzzle together they think about the powerful words and beautifully illustrated images of gems of all kinds.
Then they can flip the puzzle pieces over to reveal a character trait or virtue behind each one: Truthfulness, Kindness, etc. The children can think of these qualities, learn to spell, pronounce and define them. Learn to honor when they practice them and grow their ability to do so. And honor and encourage their friends and family to grow along with them. Each virtue can solve a myriad of problems they will face throughout their lives. Learn to use them in moderation. Learn to use them in conjunction with other virtues.
We love this puzzle and hope you will, too! Can be used in classrooms, at home, at events. Can be made at home do it yourself style. Can be given as gifts.
